While browsing through my website have a think about what you want to receive at the end of your shoot. Are you after a specialised collection of wall art? A single print or album? Or maybe you are only interested in social media images, as memories of the day?
If you know what you want just go ahead and fill in my booking request and I will be in touch. If you are unsure or just have questions please feel free to contact me via phone or email just to have a chat.
Once you have booked I will contact you to discuss your shoot and send through confirmation of the day, location and time of your shoot. 48hrs beforehand I will touch base again to confirm that you and your pet are both ready to go ahead.
The day of the shoot is meant to be a fun experience so try not to worry about what you need to do or if your pet will behave. I’ve had enough experience with animals and their owners to enjoy all of the quirks and eccentricities that I come across, so don’t worry, it will be fun. Now you just have to wait and then you will have the anticipation of waiting to see the results.
Approximately a week after your shoot I will organise with you either an in-home viewing or you can download the proof shots that I will send to you. From which you will be able to choose which photo’s you would like to have made into your final artworks.
If you are particularly looking for wall art, an in-home viewing will help you to visualise the most suitable images for your choice of layout.
Then you just need to wait until the artworks arrive. I will be in touch throughout the process so that you know when they can be expected.
My packages can include up to 2 animals and the family package includes up to 4 people however if you have more pets, and people we can rearrange the package that you are interested in to suit. There may be additional costs involved.
Yes, certainly. I will request that you bring a collar and leash anyway, not a body harness if possible, and I will remove them from the final images. Even a particularly well-trained dog requires a collar and leash in some areas for legal reasons so removing them in post-production is a normal part of my editing process.
I’m sure that we will be able to get some truly beautiful images of your baby. I allocate time at the beginning of the session for your pet to become comfortable with me, so they will have plenty of time to sniff and make sure I’m a safe person.
If you have a cat safe backyard I am very happy to have the session there. However for an epic personalised image we can discuss the option of other locations. I adore cats but I’m a huge advocate for protection of our Australian wildlife so a cat outside of it’s own backyard needs to be on a small body harness, both for their own protection and for any wildlife.
Sorry but we would have to reschedule, unless you specifically wanted a dramatic storm or a particularly wet looking pet it would be best to choose another day and time.
If you are having a family package or shoot in which you will be appearing it is best to wear clothing that is in neutral, earthy tones. Prints, logos and bright colours will draw attention to your clothes rather than your interactions with your pet. We will discuss your clothing options further when you make your booking.
